The Moonrunners were simply brilliant! The afternoon set was the perfect background to the reception and the band were so good we had a number of people simply sit and watch them rather than play the garden games. Great selection of music played incredibly. Then the night! Just wow! The band was super accommodating with organising our first dance. The guys were easy to communicate with and were very easy-going as the dinner/speeches over-ran a bit. Once they started playing, the dance floor filled and didn't empty except when they had to take their breaks but it was full again after the played the first note. The band learned a song for us as a special request and nailed it. I've been getting feedback from everyone who attended that they were incredible and I can say that they really made the night. Song selection was great, they were high energy and really played to the crowd who just loved it. Honestly could not fault a thing with them all night. Even the nice touch of letting us choose a final song to play through the PA let us play a special song to finish the party. I hope they travel near Manchester because my sister-in-law is getting married there next July and I think that they want to book The Moonrunners for their wedding too, they were just that good. I really hope that they had a good time too - it was the best day of our lives and they really made it something extra special. Would happily write any review or recommendations that they need to promote them.
We cannot thank the lovely guys of The Moonrunners enough for all they did on our special day. Super organised and couldn't have been nicer. They sounded incredible in both the acoustic set and the evening sets. Learning our first dance song and playing it live was just so cool to see, you can really tell they just love what they do. So many guests comments throughout the night too of how good they sounded. We hope this isn’t the last time we see The Moonrunners live!!
We loved our wedding band so much, the acoustic set was perfect while we had our post-ceremony drinks and canapés and the evening sets were just brilliant, our wedding day really wouldn’t have been the same without them. So many of our guests said how good the band was, the selection of songs certainly got everyone up and dancing, and it was great that the set list also covered various music eras so that there was a bit of something for all ages to enjoy. Would definitely recommend and use again!
What can I say... The Moonrunners are incredible!! We have seen them at two friends' weddings previously, and it felt special having them play at our big day too as they have gotten to know us through the past two weddings. They were great fun and very amenable to our requests (including letting my husband sing and also a friend sing as well). The songs they play could not fail to get people on the dance floor. We have had so many comments on how much fun our evening was, and this was all down to this fantastic band. Thank you so much for completing our day.
