We booked for The Royal Ts to play at our wedding after seeing them at a wedding showcase at Merley House.
From the very first time we saw them, they blew us away, they bring a fantastic vibe and are so talented.
From the moment they started playing, the dance floor was packed and it stayed that way until the final song. They have an amazing ability to read the crowd and played songs accordingly to keep everyone entertained and offered a fantastic variety of music to suit our range of guests.
Many of our guests commented afterwards on how amazing the band were and how much fun they had dancing. They truly made our wedding reception unforgettable and we can't wait to see them again at some of their many live events they do throughout the year.
They played as an acoustic 3 piece for both our wedding ceremony and reception, before switching to a full electric party band for the evening. The guests were entertained throughout and the atmosphere was perfect.
For the evening, I cannot stress how well the band did to keep the dance floor full for the entire night. The relentless chanting for ‘one more song’ and the number of couples who have since had the band play at their own weddings says it all.
Kev and the team don’t need to be told what to play, you can wholeheartedly trust that they know what they’re doing! That said, Kev very kindly learnt a first dance song for us and even altered it so we didn’t have to hold the dance floor on our own for too long!
I should also add that Kev generously gave up his time to meet with us months before the wedding and checked to see if we needed any help with microphones for speeches etc on the day which went above and beyond our expectations.
Overall, I recommend them unreservedly. This year is our 4th anniversary and we still get friends and family commenting on how much they enjoyed the band! If we could do it all again, we would book Kev and his team in a heartbeat.
